OUR GOLDEN RULES

The 18 carat yellow gold is the most used material in jewelry. It offers the greatest capacity of solidity and is part of the most noble materials. Durable in time, this alloy resists better to shocks than pure gold. However, it still requires maintenance.

As with all precious jewelry, it is strongly recommended that you remove it when sleeping, doing manual labor or sporting activities. When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it alone in its original case.

We recommend that you avoid contact with liquids, sea or pool water, chemicals and cosmetics. Be aware that any contact with these liquids will not damage your jewelry but will tarnish it faster than it should.

In order to preserve the shine of your jewelry, remember to clean it regularly with a soft cloth or a chamois.

OUR GRANDMA'S TIPS
Soapy water
Put a few drops of dishwashing liquid or soap in hot water. Let your jewelry soak for half a day and then rinse with clean water. Finally, dry it with a soft cloth.
Onion
Rub your jewelry with half an onion and rinse it with clear water, then wipe it with a soft cloth. You can also pour the juice of the onion on your jewelry, rubbing it gently. Then use a soft cloth or chamois to wipe it clean.
Bicarbonate of soda
Using a damp cloth with a little baking soda, gently rub your jewelry. Then, rinse it before drying it.

Sophie d'Agon jewels are made with precious stones, fine stones and sometimes enamel. Some of them require special attention.

It has natural inclusions, it is advisable to avoid shocks that could cause breakage.
Enamel
It is a very resistant surface but it is recommended to avoid shocks which could scratch your jewel

Turquoise and Lapis-lazuli
They are naturally porous materials, exposed to liquid, their color and shine may vary.
Diamond
To keep your diamond jewelry clean, soak it in a mild degreasing solution, such as dish soap diluted in warm water.
