The Maxiflower Ring Crocus is handcrafted in 18-carat yellow gold and set with 23 precious stones: 6 rubies, 6 cognac sapphires, 6 blue sapphires, 2 Marquise-cut emeralds, 2 pink sapphires and a yellow sapphire. The height of the ring at its widest is about 7,8mm.

Inspiration
A painting, a flower, the detail of an embroidered motif… Sophie sketches her first ideas in a small notebook she always carries with her.
Sculpting the gold
The sketch is sent to Joao’s workshop, where the piece is modeled in 3D and a first wax prototype is printed so the gold can be cast and the setting formed.
Setting the stones
Each setting is worked by hand to hold its stone perfectly. This painstaking work reveals the full beauty and brilliance of the gemstones.
Polishing the piece
The gold is polished and repolished between each stage until the piece is perfectly smooth and gleaming. It is this craftsmanship that gives every creation its unique character.
