Our Selene Necklace 1 Alba evokes the gentle light of dawn and the promise of a new beginning.
The Selene Necklace 1 Alba is handcrafted in 18-carat yellow gold, adorned with a mother-of-pearl disc, and set with 5 precious stones: 4 brown diamonds and 1 central white diamond (VS1 clarity, GH color, certified conflict-free). It features a 48 cm 18k gold rectangular-link chain, secured with a lobster clasp, adjustable to 45 or 48 cm.
A delicate natural material, mother-of-pearl requires special care. Avoid contact with water, perfumes and cosmetics, soap, and any chemical products, as well as exposure to high temperatures. Inspiration
A painting, a flower, the detail of an embroidered motif… Sophie sketches her first ideas in a small notebook she always carries with her.
Sculpting the gold
The sketch is sent to Joao’s workshop, where the piece is modeled in 3D and a first wax prototype is printed so the gold can be cast and the setting formed.
Setting the stones
Each setting is worked by hand to hold its stone perfectly. This painstaking work reveals the full beauty and brilliance of the gemstones.
Polishing the piece
The gold is polished and repolished between each stage until the piece is perfectly smooth and gleaming. It is this craftsmanship that gives every creation its unique character.
